There once was a little girl named Neva who had an imaginary friend named Tim. You see, Neva was an only child and she really wanted a brother. Unfortunately, her parents were not able to have any more children. Neva and Tim played together every day. He kept her company when she was lonely.
One day Tim told Neva he was moving away and they couldn’t play anymore. Neva was mad at Tim for having to leave but she forgave him. Then one day, her mommy and daddy told her they were moving to a bigger house in the country. When mommy asked about Tim, Neva said Tim moved away.
Mommy gave her a hug and told her it was okay and that friends sometimes move and that she would make new friends. When they moved to the new house Neva never saw Tim again but she talked about him sometimes. When Neva went to school she made new friends and soon Tim was forgotten.

Has your child ever had an imaginary friend? How long before they outgrew them?
In the dawn of night and light of day where do you think the fairies play? Watch your garden as it grows, something tells me you will know.
You can’t see them but know they are there getting ready to start their day. In the quiet of the morning the fairies help wake up the earth. Colors spring from the ground, the air has a lovely scent. Animals wake up and stretch their legs and get up out of their warm cozy beds. Be sure in your garden to leave the fairies a seat so they can rest and eat a treat. Hang a hammock in the shade where they can cool off throughout the day.
Help the fairies care for the earth. Plant new trees and flower seeds, recycle your trash and keep the earth clean. Without your help the earth will die and then the fairies and Mother Nature will cry. When the flowers and trees all disappear, there will no longer be a place for them to play and they will have to go far away. Gardens and forests, rivers and creeks no longer a shelter will there be.
So keep the earth clean and full of life, watch the magic as the land grows. Plant your gardens and your trees and keep your waters clean, maybe you’ll catch a glimpse of the fairies as they work and play throughout the day. Listen closely and maybe you’ll hear mother nature whisper thank you dear.
